Type of play
- Must-hit/positive-state “when to play” based on persistent bonus-trigger symbols (fish scatters) that carry over between spins.
How it works (what creates the edge)
- Bonus triggers when 6 fish scatter symbols land.
- Fish that land on the reels normally disappear next spin.
- Fish that first appear above the reels are persistent: they move down one position each spin and stay in play until they reach the bottom and then drop off.
- Persistent fish look the same as normal fish, but every few seconds they do a shining/gleaming animation. That shine is the reliable identifier.
- Orange fish that show credit/jackpot values can also be persistent (they shine too).
- Only up to 2 fish can be “queued” above the reels at once.
- Only up to 4 persistent fish can be on the reels at one time, so you cannot get all 6 needed scatters purely from the top; you must still land at least 2 regular (non-persistent) fish on the reels.
