Type of play (what you’re doing)

• Must-hit-by progressive hunting on Ainsworth “Eagle Bucks.”
• You’re exploiting the fact the progressive is guaranteed to hit before a posted ceiling (“must-hit-by”), and on Ainsworth it can hit on ANY spin (not just when it’s near the top).

What to look for (identify the right situation)

• Find Eagle Bucks with a Major must-hit-by (commonly $5,000 / $10,000 / $50,000 majors).
• Confirm it’s the Ainsworth version (key trait: can hit on any spin; contrast: many AGS must-hits tend to run to the very top, changing the practical feel).
• Read three numbers from the machine:
  1. Current progressive value (the meter you’re chasing)
  2. Must-hit-by ceiling (shown on the main/front screen)
  3. Seed/reset value (in the game rules/help screen)
• Measure (do not guess) the meter speed:
  1. Dollars per 1 cent of meter rise (you must play and watch the meter move)
