Type of play (what you’re exploiting)
- State-based +EV hunting on Wheel of Fortune High Roller by entering when one or more reels are already expanded close to triggering wheel spins.
- Reels expand when High Roller symbols land. At 8 symbols tall, the wheel award above that reel triggers on the next High Roller hit on that reel.
- Most of the value comes from wheel spins (not base-game “ways”), plus occasional free games/jackpot wheel bonuses.
What to look for (quick value ranking)
- Best targets: Question mark wheels (reels 1/3/5 only). Treat roughly like a “6x” or “6-pointer” in value over time.
- Next best: 5x multiplier wheels and 5-pointer wheels (reels 1/3/5 only).
- Mid targets: 4x/4-pointer, then 3x/3-pointer (mostly relevant on reels 2/4).
- Avoid chasing: 1-pointer wheels (worst; only reels 2/4).
- Note: More pointers = lower variance than an equivalent multiplier wheel.
