Type of play
- Must-hit state / “tall-reel” scouting. You’re trying to start (or be in) Free Games while the first three reels are already tall—ideally near max—because the bonus locks maxed reels and uses a premium-heavier reelset. Base-game edge is marginal and short-lived.
What to look for (key indicators)
- Reel height matters most on reels 1–3.
- Full height = 8 symbols tall.
- Chevron above the reel (above the gold pyramid): if it’s filled with gold, the reel will stay full height for the next spin; if it’s empty, that full reel is effectively “about to reset” and should be treated like a 4-tall reel for next-spin value.
- “Ways to win” number and its flashing border can mislead you because it may show big ways even when a full reel is about to shrink.
