Type of play
- Must-hit-by (MHB) progressive “wilds” accumulation/vulture play on Regal Riches (and similar behavior on companion game Prosperity Pearl).
- You’re exploiting counters that are guaranteed to award by a fixed number (or become increasingly likely as they climb), so you wait until the counter is high enough to be +EV, then jump in.
What to look for (counters/features)
- Blue wilds (base game)
- Blue wild symbols accumulate on a counter above the middle reel (not clearly shown on the bet pad like the others).
- Resets to 5; must award by 50 (increasing likelihood as it rises).
- In practice it’s uncommon to see it very high (often rarely above ~12; reported max seen 22).
- Purple/Green/Yellow wilds (free games feature)
- These are awarded during a 10-free-games feature.
- The free games can trigger randomly, but are guaranteed by MHB thresholds:
- Purple (Minor): resets 30, must hit by 75
- Green (Major): resets 40, must hit by 100
- Yellow (Mega): resets 50, must hit by 125
- Average value if they hit at the cap:
- Purple @75 ≈ 75x bet
- Green @100 ≈ 150x bet
- Yellow @125 ≈ 225x bet
