Type of play
- Must-hit-by (MHB) progressive hunting on Phoenix 888 Dragon. Two progressives: $500 MHB and $5,000 MHB.
How the advantage works / what to look for
- You’re looking for the progressive meters to climb close enough to the must-hit ceiling that the remaining “gap” is small and the hit becomes imminent.
- Resets: $500 resets to $200; $5,000 resets to $4,000.
- These jackpots are weighted to hit very late (near the top). Assume they go to the end; don’t rely on “early luck.”
When to play (floor thresholds)
- Conservative “play” numbers:
- $500 MHB: start considering at ~$481 (many APs jump in earlier around ~$475).
- $5,000 MHB: start considering at ~$4,929 (many APs jump in earlier around ~$4,900).
- “Realistic hit zone” (becomes meaningfully close):
- $500 MHB: ~$490–$499.99 (often hits somewhere in this band).
- $5,000 MHB: ~$4,990–$4,999.99.
- Practical takeaway: if you want lower risk/variance, wait closer to ~$490 / ~$4,990. The earlier you enter, the more you’re gambling.
