How to Beat Block Bonanza

Block Bonanza — Advantage Play Guide (when_to_play)

Type of play

• Positive-EV “must-hit” style play based on unusually high block values in the first 3 columns.
• You’re exploiting a temporarily favorable block board, not a progressive or a persistent meter.

How the advantage works (quick)

• Credit-value blocks sit above the reels in a grid; each block corresponds to a reel position below it.
• If you land dollar symbols on reels 1–3 in order (at least one on each of the first three reels), you’re awarded the values of the corresponding blocks.
• The edge comes from only playing when the first three columns contain abnormally large total value.

What to look for (floor checklist)

1. Yellow block in columns 1–3
2. Automatic play if there’s a yellow block anywhere in the first three columns, except:
   • Do NOT play if it’s the smallest yellow block worth ~16.6x bet (that one alone isn’t enough).
